♦ ENGINEER'S STAPf INCREASED. A THIRD APPOINTED. In- addition to tho appointments of Messrs C. F. Marshall Smith' and B. B. Swinburn, to bo assistant'engineers on the engineering staff of the Christchurch Drainage Board, as announced in ' Saturday's issue of : The Press, a third appointment was made yesterday. The new appointment is that: of Mr A. D. Goodwin, 8.A., M.N.Z., Institute of: Surveyors, Registered Civil Engineer. Mr' Goodwin comes from Dargaville where, from 1923 t0'192-5, ho was engineer toi,he DargaviJlo Borough Council, to .which-body lie-has. been 'since, consulting engineer.
