SYDNEY FOGS.
DENSEST RECORDED. (BY CABLE—PP.EB6 ABSOCIATIOH—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIA* Aim N.Z CABLB ASSOCUTIOH.) SYDNEY, June 17. The State Meteorologist says that Tuesday night's fog was the densest recorded since the weather bureau commenced keeping records in 1859. It was between 300 and 400 feet high. It is usually JSO feet. Another my dense fog was experienced this morning. VESSEL COLLIDES WITH MONUMENT. (AtrSTBALIAK AKB ' X.B CABLE ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, June 17. During Tuesday's fog an unknown vessel collided , with and seriously damaged the monument to the sculler, Harry Searle, which marks the finishing point of the championship course on the Parramatta river. Six feet of the top of the monument were dislodged.
