OXFORD COUNTY COUNCIL.
TO THE EDITOB OT "THE PBE3S." Sir, —I see in your paper of April 19th a report of the Oxford County Council, and I think when, a report is being sent into the paper or papers a full report should be given of the meetings. I note in the report a letter was received from J. Pavelka, apologising for assaulting their stock ranger, but not a word is said in the report where their stock ranger impounded my cows, or where I interviewed the Council on the matter, and a certain time was given them to refund the poundago fees, and my name taken off their pound book, or law proceedings would be taken, and my request was almost immediately complied with, to save further trouble. It seems very strange this part of the meeting should be withheld from the public—Yours, etc.. JAMES W. THOMSON. East Oxford. May 4th.
