TOY DOG AND CAT CLUB. GENERAL MEETING. A general meeting of the club was held at the Chamber of Commerce. Mr G. Biltcliff presided, and there wan a record attendance. After dealing with correspondence and the ordinary business, the following appointment of show officials was made: Judges* stewards, dog section, Mrs Talbot, Messrs Dimond, White, and Hale; cats, Mrs Mac Gibbon; cookery, Mesdames Bosworth and Pearn; fancy-work, Mrs MacDougall; convenors of show, Messrs Nightingale and Wathew. Several members proffered their assistance in setting out the show, and their offers were gratefully accepted. The question of benching the terriers was considered, and Mrs Bosworth and Mr S A MacDougall were deputed to obtain prices and details of divisions. The hon. secretary reported that several special prizes, both cash and trophies, had com ,V? han,J Bln <:6 last meeting, and were still being presented. The. club passed a hearty vote of thanks to Mrs Mac Gibbon and Miss Lindsay for their generous offer to supply and run a bran-tub; also to Mrs Breech for her donation of a cake for a guessing competition.
