MALE VOICE CHOIR.
Tho Christclrarch Male Voice Choir'season opens on Thursday snd Saturday next in the Choral Hall, under Dr. J. 0. Bradshaw. A remarkably good programma has been arranged, the objective being to show the capability of the choir and to mark the advent of the new season by the presentation of items of exceptional merit. All of the concerted numbers by the men will be unaccompanied, and those in which the boys of the Cathedral sing the soprano parts will also be unaccompanied. The boys alone will render two items,- the soloist being Master J. Joynt. Several numbers will be entirely new to Christchurch. Assisting artists will be Miss Millicent Jennings (mezzo-soprano), Mr Harold Beck (violoncello), while representing the choir as soloist will be Mr Harry Heatley (baritone).
