GRAND THEATRE.
.A .melodrama by' Seymour Hicks is the feature at! the Grand Theatre this week. "Sporting Life" is ; the>play that had sueh a successful run at the Drury Lane in London ft jew seasons ago, and in its adaptation to-the screen *it has lost none ,of its mlrable characteristics. It is a story in which the'vicissitudes of ths fast set amongst tha English nobility are fearlessly displayed, and the luck of the Turf enters largely into the plot. As a t noble peer, who is facing bankruptcy on account . of his tastes, Bert Lytell is given a part .which suits him admirably, while Marion Nixon makeß an appealing heroine. . "Daddy a Gone A Hunting," in ,whioh.., Percy.-.Mar??pi!t and Alice Joyce take the leading roles, is the other attraction. . ■
