The Metals Trades Employers' Association discussed the decision of certain unions working under Federal Awards, not to work more than fortyfour hours a week, despite the recent High Court ruling. The meeting resolved that as the employers were bound to conform to the conditions of the Federal Award. 6uch conditions must also be observed by tho men, and any man refusing would be notified tjyit his services were no longer required. Enforcement of the decision will mean the first blow in what promises to be a big fight.
