The sharpest earthquake for years shook Hilo to-day as an accompaniment to the latest outburst of Mauna Loa. One building was shaken eight inches from its foundations. The flow of lava is less noticeable, but villages are endangered. Hundreds of cattle stampeded to the mountains when ranch buildings were set ou fire by the lava.
