FRANC FALLS AGAIN.

♦ UNEASINESS CAUSED. (BI CABLB—PRB3S ASSOCIATION—COPT&IOHT.) UUBTBALIAN iXD N.Z CABLB ASSOCIATION.) PARIS, April 16. The fresh fall in the franc to 144 to the £l, despite the apparent improvement in the financial situation, is causing uneasiness. It is attributed to the sales of French francs abroad, especially in Belgium and Italy for maintenance of these countries' own currencies; also in Holland, for some unknown reasons. False reports with regard to the demonstration by civil servants in Paris, circulated in Central Europe, are also blamed.
