The Coroner's enquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mrs Violet May Jlutherford, who died in the Hospital on March 16th, was resumed Mr H. A. Young on Saturday morning. '■>■ .The Coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence, that the deceased died of acute peritonitis. .. In the inquest. touching the death of Mrs Ellen Callaghan . McGlinchy, who died in the Christchurch Hospital on March Ist, the Coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the evidence of Dr. Pearson, that death was due to syncope following a haemorrhage.
