SOLDIER SETTLER KILLED.

' (PMSS ASSOCUTIOH TELEGRAM.) DANNEVIRKE, April 15. At the inquest on J: F. Tidswell, of Glengarry, a soldier settler who was killed in an awident on Thursday, the evidence showed that his skull was fractured, and the brain lacerated, apparently by kicks from-the hoofs of the horse he had been driving when the milk cart left the road, and went oyer tho bank. The body was found lying pinned wider the shaft of the cart. The horse was. struggling to get up, with the deceased's head just by its feet. Indications pointed to the cart having capsized, when the driver was trying to get up.the bank on to the roadway. The verdict was that death was due to fracture of the skull and laceration of the brain. Tidswells parents reside at Gisborne, He was a member of the 26th Reinforcements.
