Sir' James Allen is broadcasting New Zealand films among provincial cinemas. The first group of 54 applicants are undertaking four presentations daily of twenty minutes each for three or four days. It is estimated that the attendances during that period will be IQO,OOO. New Zealand's expenditure will be negligible, because the cinemas are not charging for screening them. When t new films arrive, Sir James proposes invading the metropolitan cinemas.
