HORDER AND O'SHEA AT AUCKLAND. (PEESS ASSOCIATION MXEGBAM.) AUCKLAND, March'B. • Seven thousand people were present at the opening of the Blandford Park Stadium on Saturday evening. The one-milo scratch cycla race, in which five men started from tho mark, was won by Nicholson, of Auckland, who jumped ahead in the last half-lap while Border and O'Sbea were watching each other, and this enabled .Nicholson to win by a wheel from O'Shea, who beat Horder 'by inches. Time. 2itrin 24 8-sseo. , O'Shea obtained the verdict against Horder by'-a wheel-in winning the three-lap open race, but Horder eaßily disposed .of all opponents in the sprint race of ono lap, in which he conceded up to 70 yards.
