BOARD OF GOVERNORS MEETS. The Board of Governors of the Technical College met last night, Mr McGregor Wright presiding. A.report from the Finance Committee was to the effect that it had received and adopted the treasurer's financial statement for the period January Ist to /*™«p f* showing receipts amounting to £3170 13s »a, and expenditure of £1537 lis 2d, and a total credit balance o£ £1637 17s Sd; that the Director o£ Education had notified a *»»** «° 03 lfls 5d for furniture and fittings for ho actional class-rooms in the side school, and that it had authorised an order for the «unplies: 25,000 feet kauri shorts, 1 on dfawing paper, 1J tons writing paper The 0 committed that the amount «(i!l owine for the purchase of the bo>s hostel he! reduced immediately by the payment of £6OO.
