THE NEW BISHOP.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR RECEPTION The lit. Rev. Campbell West-Watson, .the Anglican Bishop-elect of Christchurch, will arrive in Christchurch nest month, and arrangements have been made for his reception and installation to office. It is expected that the Bishop-elect and Mrs West-Watson will arrive in Wellington by the Rotoma on Saturday, March 20th. The Bif;hop-elect will be met in Wellington by the Dean of Christchurch and Bishop's Commissary, the Very Rev. C. W. Carrington; the Diocesan Registrar, Rev. Canon J. do B. Galwey; and the Chancellor, Mr H. D. Andrews. The Bishop-elect and Mrs West-Watson will leave Wellington on the same evening for Christchurch. On Wednesday, March 24th, at .8 p.m., there will be the enthronement ceremony in the Cathedral. Admission will bo by tickets only, which will be obtainable from the parish clergy. At the ceremony, the collection will be for tlw Foreign Missions of the Church. The programme for March 25th begins with Holy Cnxmunion at 7.30 a.m. in the Cathedral. At 8.30 a.m. there will bo breakfast at the Carlton for membcrs of the Svnod, the Cathedral Chapter, Church Property Trustees and others, and at 10.30' a.m. the Bishop will meet the clergy at the Church Hou.se. The wires of tiw clergy will bo invited to meet Mrs West-Watspn at the Deanery at 11 a.m. There will be a public reception at 8 p.m. in King Edward Barracks. Tickets will bo issued at 6d each for the reception, and will be obtainable from the parish clergv or from the verger at the Cathedral. It is expected that the Bishop will preach oil Easier morning at the Cathedral, and in the evening at Rangiora. On the first Sundav after Easier, be is likely to preach at Tisnnru. The Bishop intends tn take the 4.10 p.m. r-hildrHi'j; services at the Cathedral in Holy Week.
