ENGLISH PARK STADIUM.
FITZGERALD AND BEARMAN MEET TO-NIGHT. The inclement weather caused a postponement of the sporta arranged for last night by tho Mairehau Sporta Club. The management will Btcge the full programme to-night. The well-varied programme consists of over thirty events, the chief of which will bo the- meeting of Jack Bcarman and Mick Fitzgerald in a three-distance match race, a. quarter mile epnnt, unpaced, a half, end three-quarter mile paced races. A big attraction is offered m tho one mile scratch race, in which the best riders in the Dominion will compete. The starters in tho scratch race ineludo Phil O'Shea, Frank Carey, J. Henderson, M. Fitr.gerald, J. Bearman, and other prominent riders. Other events to be decided ara a. half, three-quarter mile handicap raco, an amateur race, and a 333 yards cash run. The programme will be run in its entirety, and will be ona of the most interesting ever beld at the Stadium. The sports will commence at eight o'clock.
