"The White Monkey," now being screened at tli© Grand Theatre, shows the intriguing love afiah'R of Flour and Michael .Mont (Barbara La Marr and Thomas Holding), jjnd Victorine and Tony Bickett (ilora lie nietou and Charle3 Ernmett Mack). Bickett is an employee of a publishing , a , a very humble employee at that. Michael is one of the partners. Bickott a sick wife is starving, and he steals books in order to buy her food. The story then turns on the married life of Michael and Fleur, and a charming interloper, Wilfrid .Desert, who was Michael's best man and is m .ove with Fleur. "Tumbleweeds" is tho second attraction, with William S. Hart in the leading role.
