MURDER CHARGE.
SINGLE WOMAN ARRESTED. (PRESS association telegeam.) PALMERSTON N., February 15. • A single woman, aged 22 years, a domestic servant, was arrested and charged this afternoon that on or about January 19th, at Palmerston North, she did murder her infant daughter. She had been a resident ,of Palmerston North for some months, coming from the Auckland district. A remand was granted till February 17th, bail being fixed at self £SO, and one surety of a like amount. The Bench ordered the suppression of the accused's name in the meantime.
