ANNUAL MEETING. The eleventh annual meeting of the North Canterbury Gun Club was held m Lecc s Buildings on Saturday, the president, Mr . Skilling, occupying the cliair. There -were sixteen members present. F solved to bring the matter under tho notice of tho members. . Thn committee, in their annual report and balance-sheet, stated they wero pleased to be able to show that the club had maintained its satisfactory progress. were 147 members on the roll'* at tho beginning of the year, 18 new members had boen enrolled, seven resigned, ' and 12 had been strut* off tho roll. The financial position of the club as disclosed by tho balance-sheet was good. total receipts amounted to £607 13s 7a, ana. expenditure £602 !8s lOd, showing a P™* 1 " of £t Its Od, which sum, added to the credit balance* af £l2O 16s . r >d with which the year commenced, left a total credit balance of £125 lis 2d. , . . Skilling; auditor, Mr C. I. Jennings. The chairman, before closing the meeting, referred to tlic splendid work of the secretary, Mr JL D. Bettger, and moved that an honorarium of £."50 be paid him. The motion was carried.
