WAR MEDALS.

200,000 AWAITING CLAIMANTS. During the past five years some 6,000,000 people in Great Britain, the Dominions, and the Colonies have received medals for service rendered in the Great War. At present medals are being issued weekly in Britain, to between 200 and 300 individuals. There are still 200,000 people who, though entitled to medals, cannot be traced by the War Office owing to their having changed their addresses either at home or abroad. The War Office has taken every reasohable step to find those people, and a very large number have been found, especially during the last twelve months. The distribution to the remaining 200,000 people can only be expedited by those entitled realising the necessity of communicating their present addresses to the Medals Branch, War Office, London.
