DUNEDIN WOOD SALES.
ERRATIC BIDDING. (PEESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DUXEDLV, January 29. The second wool sale of the season concluded to-day, ■when --.0-S ha were offered. There was a laige at ten ancc of buyers, Great Britain, America, France, and Germany bidding in a u erratic manner. Buyers were keen some times, and then indifferent. Compared with December sales, super lots, spcci allv those suitable for showe a slight rise. On the other hand, medium and inferior, specially halfbreds, showed a considerable decline. The £ on dition of the wool was similar to that in the first sale, showing signs ot a late winter and spring. There was a considerable proportion of tender woo. The range "of prices was as follows:

Silver—Standard, 31d; fine, 33 7-16 d per ounce. WHEAT. LONDON, January 28. ' Wheat cargoes are dull and -unchanged though Australians were xath?r depressed. Parcels are quiet. Liverpool futures are quoted:—March, lie S-Jd; May, lis 7d; July, Us 5Jd per cental. Spot trade is quiet. Flour is slow. Australian, cx store, is quoted at 47e. Oats show a firmer tendency. !Pcas and beans are quiet and unchanged.
