O'SHEA-NESBITT MATCH RACE.
$ TO-NIGHT AT ENGLISH PARK STADIUM. H. W. Nesbitt, the Australian sprinter, who is in Christ-church under engagement to the English Park Stadium Company, will meet the New Zealand champion, Phil O'Sliea, in a match race over three distances of half a mile each._ Both riders are experienced in this class ot racing, and tho public can bo assured of a clean race undei the smeiail match rating onditions laid Sown by tho English Park Stadium Company. O'Shea is still showing great form and has so far defeated all comers at the Stadium. Ho contemplates adding another victory to his long list of wins. INesbitt has made. a. good recovery from his recent indisposition, and expects to hold his owj against the Dominion champion. All the crack .riders wi.il bo competing :n tho handicap events-, and 1 close finishes are anticipated. Splendid entries have been received for the supporting programme including the champion sprinter 'Don McLennan. The programme, which will be enlivened by Kerry's Military Band, wnl commence at' eight o'clock. Special trams and buses have been arranged for.
