AUCKLAND HOLD-UP.
ACCUSED CHARGED WITH BIGAMY. (press association tilegram.) AUCKLAND, December 21. Albert George Marshall, who caused-a sensation in Newmarket by holdinjr up thp manager of the Savings Bank with a revolver, -was charged at the Police Court to-day»with bigamy, and pleaded guilty. ' He was charged that, having married Isabella Hatcher at Auckland on March 30th, 1916, he did go through the form of marriage on June J2nd, 1925 with a widow whoso name Mr J "\V. Poynton, &N., ordered, to be suppressed. Marshall was committed for sentence. The widow stated the accused told her he was a widower and had a farm at Henderson. She was separated from him two months after the marriage. Accused talked about revolvers and frightened her. One day she found in a bag, beside the bed, a revolver loaded iu all chambers but one. Marshall, w T ho is now in custody «.n the hold-up charge, will appear at the Supreme Court this week for sentence.
