SHIPPING NOTES. The Orepuki arrived yesterday morning from Tarakoho to diachargo cement. She is to' load to-morrow for Nelson, Westport and Grcyroouth. No cargo will be handled by tlio Wellington ferry steamers this week. The Karctu is lo sail to-day for Timaru to continuo discharging and loading for Sydney. The Waipahi should be here today to load for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The Wauaka is expected to-morrow from Dunedin to load for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. Tho Federal liner Middlesex is due to-morrow morning from Wellington to discharge West of .England cargo. Tho Tarausay is ospectod to-morrow from Wellington. She has cargo from Montreal and Sydney (Capo Brclon) for discharge. Tho Maunganui is due at Wellington t.his morning from Sydney. Sho sails on tho return trip on Thursday. Captain A. H. The Shaw, Savill Company has been advise'd of the arrival of tho Tainui at London on Wednesday afternoon from Wellington, via Panama. The vessel left Wellington on November 9th. Cable advice received by tho New Zealand Shipping Company states that tho Trekicvo arrived at Colon and left Panama on December 3 2th, en rout* from Montreal and Newport News to New Zealand ports.
