LODGE MEETING.

Vice Arch Bvo. H. Tonkin presided over ;i very large attendance at the haif-yearly meeting ot tue Ivy ci I>inwood Lodge, U.A-U.D., hold in the Urange Hall the other evening. Grand Pros. Bro. Collins and the Grand .Lodge- officers paid an official visit and were welcomed with Druidic honours. Tno balancesheet was presented and showed the Lodge to be making good financial progress, tbo funds having increased £234 J'-r the halfyear. The membership was 100. Special reference was made- to. the secretary, Bro. l'almcr, having been secretary for the Lodge ier 21 years. It was decided to ho.'d 'An Kvening and Presentation" Jo him, ar.d the arrangements for same were left in the hands oi an appointed committee. Dunford, and G. Fisher; V.A. Bards, Bros. J. Owens, N. Goodc; musician, Bro. G. Russell; trustee, Bro. R. Begg; V.A., Bro. H. Ballan; treasurer, Bro. H. Luxton; assistant secretary, Bro. H. Bailau; Grind Lodge representatives, Bros. J. Bates, T. Burgess, R. Bigg, and F. Legge (emergency); U.F.S. Dispensary delegates, Bros. G. Bates and H. Luxton; U.F.S. Benevo'ient Association delegates, Bros. F. Legge and B. Bigg; U.F.ii. Council, Bro. J. Burgess; Lodge Distress Committee, A.D., V.A.. secretary, treasurer, three A.P. Bards, and R.A. Bro. G. Russell and W. Griffiths. The inetallation ceremony was conducted in an imnressive manner the D.R. Bro. T. Burgees. On Saturday night the lodge held their chidren's Christmas Tree party, some 240 children heing present.
