WAR-TIME TAX.
STAMP DUTY IN W.A

The Assembly read a third time a Bill' to continue the extra duty imposed as a war-time tax on land transactions. The Treasurer stated the Treasury ■could not afford to forgo ail war-time taxation for 20 years.
