The markets for oats, peas, and beans are quiet, and prices are unchanged. LEESTON STOCK SALE. Yesterday was an off day bo far as tho Lecstem stock sale was concerned. With the exception of store pigs, which mot with a brisk demand from dairy farmers, tho enquiry for stock showed a marked weakening, due in some measure, no doubt, to the holidays being so close at hand. Besides a few email lots of sheep, there were 39 fat pigs, 164 stores, and 14 head of cattle. The sheep 'sales included G ewes at 19s 6d and 22 wethers at 265. Top price for bacon went to Mr E. Chamberlain (Elleomere), who sold one at £5 7s 6d, whilo Mr Hamilton Winchester sold six at £5 0s 6d> Other (baconera made 74s I 6d to 93a fid, porkers from 43s 6d, choppers 50s to Ms, large stores 36s to 665, small from 225, weanere from 14s, bow in pig £5. The prices paid for stores were quite out of proportion to those obtained for fats. Fat heifers made £6 Ss to £6- 10s, a fat cow £9, etore cow £2 10s, yearlings £3 2a. REVALUED FARM. A revalued farm, consisting' of 67J acres, tlxz-ee-<2txartors of a mile from Ashley, was sold at the upset price of £3200 to Mr HeRae, of Canterbury, by Mr G. H. Bullard, Commissioner of Crown Lands, at the Lands and Survey Office yesterday. The farm is Buitabls for dairying and cropping. BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES. I . : For the first, tima in its history of 108 years the Bank of New South Wales has presented an annual report. Hitherto the reports presented have been half-yearly. The year covered is to September 30th last, and a profit of £979,383 is shown, which ia the largest in tho history of the Bank, and compares with £846,835 in the previous year, £825,081 in 1923, and £652,881 in 1920. This bank pays dividends quarterly, and three quarterly dividends, at the rate of 10 per cent, per annum, have been paid throughout the year, and with the final quarterly dividend now payable the amount of ' the dividends totals £600,000; the shareholders receive in addition a bonus of 10a per share, equal to 1\ per cent., and absorbing £150,000. The reserve fund has been ancreaeed by £250,000, and now stands at £4,400,000, and £130,755 is carried forward. The note circulation stands at £585,020, as compared with £481,090, the increase being accounted for by an. addition of £54,000' to the note circulation in New Zealand. The deposits totallod £57,070,095, as compared with £52,396,570 in the previous year. The advances amounted to £42,676,111, against £48,208,816.

SOUTH AMERICAN MEAT. The Now Zoalantl s Meat Producers' Board has received a cablogram from its representative at Buenos Ayroß, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended November ,2Gth, 1925, from Argentine and Uruguay:— 257,875 quarters chilled beef, 6000 quarters frozen beef, 84,572 carcases frozen mutton, 119,050 carcases frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled:— 1880 quarters chilled beef, 142,800 quarters frozen beef, 7937 carcases frozen mutton, 3950 carcases frozen lamb. LONDON WOOL SALES. Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., have re-cei-ved cablegrams from London giving tha following closing rates of the London November Bales:—Merino la' 7d, 2s Id; 56-58 Is 7d, Is OJd; 60-56 Is sd, Is Bid; 48-50 Is Sd, Is 6id; 46-48 Is 2id, Is 4Jd; 44-46 Is 2d, ls'4d; 40-44 Is Id, Is 3d.
