Dairy Co.'s School Children's. competition, open to scholars of primary and secondary schools in: Canterbury and on the West Coast. Mr. C. T. Aschman, late Principal of the Normal School, kindly consented to act as judge, and he was assisted in the later stages by Mr. H. R. T. Advertising Counsel to the Tai Tapu Co-op. Dairy Co. Ltd. All the envelopes; containing the essays were opened in Mr. Aschman's presence by members 0! then Company's staff, and scrupulous fairness Was observed throughout.
