The Wootton was due last night from Wellington with cattle. She is to commence loading to-day for Wellington. The Cygnet is due back to-morrow from Nelson and "Kaikoura. She is to be dispatched on Monday night for Kaikoura only, and returning on Wednesday will lay up until after the holidays, when she will resume the Lyttelton-Kaikoura-Wellington trade. The Waipahi is due to-morrow, and is to load here for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. On Tuesday she picks up the Wahine's ferry cargo, as that vessel will not load, owing to commencing daylight trips the next day. ' The Orepuki is due on Monday from Tarakohe with cement. She is to load on Tuesday for Nelson, Westport, and Greymouth. The Katoa is expected here on Wednesday to load for Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland.

The Gale is due to-day from Picton, and is to sail on Monday for Dunedin and Timaru.

Mr J. A. Clark has replaced Mr P. H. King as second mate of the Breezo. Mr W. Jackson has signed off the Corrinna's articles as second engineer, and the position is now occupied by Mr "W. Johnston. The Knrtigi sailed from Melbourne on Wednesday for New Plymouth, where she is due on Tuesday next. She afterwards proceeds to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin to complete discharge. The Kurow leaves Wellington to-day for Westport, and later loads at Edithburg, Adelaide, and possibly Molbourne for New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington, and Auckland.

The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera left Wellington yesterday for loading at Lyttelton, thence Napier, Tokomam Bay, and Auckland, and is to sail finally from the latter port on January 7th for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island, Panama, and Curacao. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Hunter sailed last night for Dunedin, New Plymouth, Wellington, and Napier to complete discharge of her London cargo. The yossel afterwards loads for Homo at Waikokopu, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Picton, Wanganui, and Wellington. The Federal liner Suffolk sailed from Gisborne on Wednesday night for Auckland, thence New Plymouth and Wellington, where she is due on December 31st to complete loading for West of England ports. The vessel is expected to sail finally from Wellington on January sth.
