ELECTION OF. COMMISSIONERS. Tho following have been nominated for the Ashley-River Trust:—Rangiora. Borough, Mi- Frederick Horr&U; Ashley-Oxford, Messrs Thomas Dawson and Henry George Philpott; Kowai IHvision, Messrs Robert Peach, James Dunlop Wyllie, Thomas Wyllie; Rangiora County, Messrs John Clifford_Bayley, Alfred Money Carpenter, Eonry Isaac MehrteDS, Thomas Albert Prior, William Stalker, Leonard John Stokes, John Waller. No poll will be required for Rangiora borough and Ashley-Oxford divisions, the candidates having been declared elected by tho Returning Officer, Mr J. H. Ba'ird. Tho poll for the remaining divisions will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd, for tho election of two commissioners from each division.
