FRENCH AT DAMASCUS.
NEW OPERATIONS BEGUN. (BT CABLE—PBZSS ASSOCIATION- —COPTBIOHT.) (/THE TDtZS.") (Received December loth, 7.10 p.m.) DAMASCUS, December 15. The French hare begun new operations with the double object of liberating the areas round Damascus which are still in rebel hands and establishing a cordon round the city. It is stated that tho Government may temporarily transfer the Capital from Damascus to .Aleppo.
