ZachlM Pasha exhorted student demonstrators outside his house to return, quietly to their homes. . Zaghlul then went to the Continental Hotel, where the meeting elected him president of the Chamber of Deputies and passed a vote of in the present Ministry, declaring that Parliament will meet at the time and place the members may-decide; Zaghlul, in a speech, said he> was the defender of the constitution.
