The Dowager Empress Marie of Russia, the late Queen Alexandra's sister, is seriously ill at her homo outside Copenhagen, which was jointly owned by Queen Alexandra. November 20. The Prince of Wales and the Duke of York reached the dimly lighted railway station of Wolferton (nearest to Sandringhini), sixteen miuutes behind schedule time. This was perhaps the most poignant incident in a tragic dav, as four minutes before their arrival Queen Alexandra died. The news was telephoned to the stationmaster, who informed ner late Majesty's grandsons on their arrival. The- Princes bowed their" heads, and then entered a waiting car in complete silence, and drove slowly away.
