MODEL YACHTING.

The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed off the two final heats of the fifth race of the season at Victoria Lake on Saturday. Eleven boats competed. The wind was north-west at the start, but veered to che south during the second heat. Mr W. A. Schenkel, the club captain, supernsed the racin?. Following are the results:— Third Heat—o. B. Ekensteen s Pateena (scr) 1 K. Hodge's Tui (handicap 2mm 50sec) 2. The only boats to finish in time. Time, 44Jmin. . Fourth heat—R. Mcintosh's Peggy (2mm) 1, Pateena (scr) 2, H J. Bowlker's Lily. (4mtn 20see) 3, W. S. Kingston's Isa (3min 30sec) 4, S. W. King s Bee (smin 20sec) 5. .* ■ The race resulted: Peggy, 21 points, l; Tui, 18 points, 2; Pateena, 14 points, 3. The first two heats of the President s Kaee will be sailed next Saturday.
