SANDERS CUP TRIALS. The first of a series oi preliminary trials to select a Canterbury representative boat and_ erew for the Sanders' Cap one design Jellieoe class races to be held in Danedin in February next will be sailed on the Estuary this afternoon, starting from Sumner jetty at 8 p.m. The course will be to a buoy in the main channel opposite Estuary road, thence back to the Sumner jetty, three tlspes round. Secret and Betty will represent the Ohristchurch Club, and. it is expected that Xagple,. Usher, and Linnet 11. will represent the Canterbury Tacht Chib, Lytteltoa. The latter boats were to be brought over from Lyttelton by motor-lory.
