Both the Postmaster-General and the Director of Postal Services in Melbourne are sceptical regarding the cabled announcement that Canada is going to withdraw from the Paeifia Cable Board. They state that nothing further has been heard since the Canadian protest against the duplication was received in March last. Even if Canada did withdraw, the only thing that would happen would bo a readjust men t of finances regarding Britain, Australia, and New Zealand.
