RT. HON. SIR FRANCIS VILLIERS. (bt cable— press association—coptbtoht.) (attstbauan and n.z. cablb aßsoclatlok.) (Received November 19tb, 10.5 p.m.) LONDON, November 18. The death is announced of the Rt. Hon. Sir Francis Hyde Villiers. [The Et. Hon. Sir Francis Hyd© Villiers, P. 0., G.GVM-,G., G.GV.O, was the fourth son of the 4th Earl of Clarendon, and was 73 years of age- He had held various. appointments in theForeign Office, and from 1896 to 1955 was Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs. He was Envoy Extraordinary Portugal 1905-11, and to" Belgium. 1911-19; he was Ambassador to Belgium 1919-20.]
