CANTERBURY WOMEN'S CLUB.
Mrs Jobn Forrester was hostess at the Canterbury: Women's Club last night, when a musical reception was heM. In anticipation of a good) programme, the members attended in full force, and they were not disappointed. Mrs-Forrester-had prepared for their delectation an excellent programme for which, on' the suggestion pf Miss M. Spence, she was accorded a very cordial vote of thanks. The following were the performers: Mrs Stephen Parr (songs), Mrs Bischlager (songs), Miss Marion "Woodhouse (songs), Mr. Hugh Hobbs (songs), Miss Judith Mathias (violin solos), Mr Bernard Rennell (songs), Mrs J. E. Russell, Mrs T. D.' Kendall, and Miss Forrester (pianoforte solos). Mrs J. E.. Russell and Mrs Hugh Hobbs acted as accompanists. Amongst those present were: —Mrs T. J. W.
