MEETING OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN.
The members of the Canterbury "Women Graduates' Association, and of the Branch of the New Zealand Federation of University "Women met in the "Women's Common Room, Canterbury College, on Tuesday evening. Miss,'lt. M Gresson presided.over a very fair attendance. A letter was received from Federation Headquarters, asking that each branch should'make, a .further donation to tho Crosby Hall Endowment Fund—tho final instalment of which is due in November.: .After-dis-cussion, it was decided that an attempt to raise the sum required be made'by voluntary contributions. The Branch was further* notified that the American Association of Uh'versifcv \Yomen arc offering an ! International Fellmvship of dollars for the-year 1926-2/. The holder must spend a.year doing research work in sorno country other than her own, and.she must suSmit a dissertation or other published or unpublished work in support bflier application. " ; ? Tho remainder of the evening was', spent.-ih a more social manner, after nlndi a dainty supper was seryed.
