At a meeting ,of the New Zealand Producers' Free Marketing League, consisting I' of producers and delegates from co-operative and proprietary factories, as well as representatives of the business community from ; »U parts of New Zealand, it /was decided f to approve of and eicouraga the Dairy Produce Control Board- in its activities, except I' compulsory marketing and the pooling of results, both of •which are to be strenuously \ opposed by-the League. :■ " It also unanimously decided that members [" !of the Control Board should in future be i' elected by the single ward system, if Several speakers congratulated the Control K Board on the stand taken iu respect of the shipping strike, .as a result of which there >-. had been little delay-in shipments of butter [• and cheese.
