AKAROA.
Further arrangements have been made bv the Akaroa Advancement Association for the coming season. The Boating Club has been advised that its new best and best four-oared racing boat, built by Geo. Towns, of Sydney, has rcaehed Lyttelton and. will be forwarded to Akaroa early in the "week. The entire, cost of the new boat is borne by a spciial'fund raised by the efforts of a club'member. The Presbyterian Bible Class lield a social evening on Wednesday. Miss Nancy Bell, of Akaroa, whose marriage takes place shortly, was the guest of honour at an evening arranged by the Misses Marjoric and Alice Hall in the Schoolhousc.
