The picture is a. most unusual one. It opens with a barom sequence in full natural colours. Following the tradition _. that Oriental potentates choose for their harems picked representative beauties of every race and clime, the producer made a thorough search of all Hollywood, with the result that he succeeded in assembling a group of a dozen girls whom, he beliovee, arc perfect types of the liatin, Slav, Norec, Teutonic, Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Mongolian, and other racial groups. They were photographed in nat'-raJ colours and in gorgeous native costumes, the scenes being beautiful to a degree. The audience sees the entrancing love of all nations as a background to the strangest love pact ever made by a man and a woman. Blanche Sweet and F.oiyld Colman have the principal roles. Tho other production on the bill is the first of "The Telephone Girl" series, starring' Miss Alberta Vaughn. It is entitled "Julins Sees Her." The stories are from the pen of H. C. Whitwer, noted author of slang fiction, and are appearing now in the Cosmopolitan Magazine. Tho picturiaations of these stories are faithfully produced, and the action moves along with the sprightliness and; verve of a big comedy-drama. The box plans are at The Bristol, and reserved seats may be obtained there or by telephoning the theatre.
