(Received October Bth, 10.'20 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 8. .] In tho Assembly, Mr Baddeley introduced the Arbitration Act Amendment Bill, which provides for tho abolition of tho Arbitration Court and tho Board of Trade, an Industrial Commission being appointed in their place. Tho Commission will consist of tho chairman, appointed by the Government, and members appointed by the employers and employees. Conciliation Committees will also be appointed for each industry. Tho Bill provides absolute preference to unionists. Tho Commission will fix the living wage twico yearly. Tho Day Baking Bill was read a first time.
