GRAND THEATRE. "THE DRESSMAKER FROM PARIS" AND "THE GREAT DIAMOND MYSTERY." "The Ten Commandments" will be screened for the last time at the Grand tp-night. ' The new programme, commencing tomorrow, contains a snappy, spicy, comedyromance of gay Paris, and includes all the gowns and dresses of the 1926 Paris Fashions. Leatricc Joy, in the leading role, is supported by fourteen beautiful models of international fame. The storv opens iu Paris at the beginning of the World War. • Miss Joy has the role of Fifi, si little-midinette -who meets Billy Brent (Forrest), an American army officer, through accident. It is a case of love at first sight for both. Brent is called to the front and Fifi enters a contest, the winner of which is entitled to study designing in ine establishment of a famous modiste. The scene shifts to the little American town of Clarion, Illinois. Brent is now junior partner jn a department store owned by Torrence,- and Fifi. now known as Madame Louise, world-famous designer, comes to give a fashion show in the establishment. Brent, is engaged to Torrence's daughter, played bv Miss Harris, and the appearance of Fifii "complicates matters not a little. Evervthing is straightened out in the end. On the same programme is the _\\ illiam Fox murder drama, "The Great Diamond Vlvsierv '' The picture is quite different 'from the usual kind of Shirley Mason production The little star herself enacts .no vole of a voung writer who has just coincided a m'vsterv story based on a theory in criminologv that a murderer always return* to the scene of his murder.
