LEAGUE. QUEENSLAND TEAM. (.PRESS ASSOCZATIOjr THJSOSA3I.) ' WELLINGTON, October S. Reviewing the tonr of tho Queensland Bugby Leajrnc's team, Mr H. Sunderland, joint manager, said that it had been a success. The game was firmly established in three o£ the leading centres, and it only remained for the League of Australia and New Zealand to find ways and means of developing the code in ■Wellington, to complete the necessary link of Ihe bip centres. Something definite would bo done for Wellington before nest season. Mr Snnderlsnd added that the real reason for his issuing a challenge to the AU Blackf was because Rugby Union critics, in referring to the* New Zealand-Neir South Wales match in Auckland, said that no League team could hope to live -with the Union All Blacks. The Queenslanders did not suggest, for one moment, that the All Blacks were not a great side. A member of the New Zealand < Council said that it was hoped that four' League teams would be playing in Timaru nest season.
