Miss Geraldine Conroy, of Sydney, arrived to marry Lieutenant A. E. Colton, of U.'S.S. Pennsylvania, whom she mot during the' Fleet visit to Australia. The immigration officials, declaring that the Australian quota was filled, refused her permission to enter the United States. Lieut. Colton is hurrying to tho detention station to rescue his fiancee.
