SEARCH FOR BODIES.

SLOW WORK AT COLERIDGE. Ever since the rescue oi Daly and Archer from the No. J2 tunnel at Lake Coleridge, where they wore entombed by the fall of earth on Friday morning last, tho tunnellers have been hard at work driving for the bodies of Green, McParlane, and McDonald, the other three men who were crushed under the shingle. The work of catting the drive is progressing slowly on account of the soft nature of tho ground, and the danger -of getting too near the fall, and starting another rush of earth. The cross-cut from tho main drive was commenced at 4 p.m. yesterday, and it is expected that the fallen mass will be reach this morning. Informal tion from Lake Coleridge late last night was to the effect that there was little chanco of getting to any of the bodies before to-night. The actual locality of the bodies is not altogether certain, and this adds to the slowness of tho ,progress. It was stated that it would probably be about the end of the week before all the bodies were recovered. The widow of one of the entombed men, Mrs McFarlane, left for Coleridge yesterday morning to await the recovery of her husband's body. This is the second visit to tho scene of the tragedy made by Mr;#McFarlane since the tragedy.
