ATOTICE is herebv given that the following SPECIAL ORDER was passed at a Special Meeting of tho Waimairi County Council held on September 14th, 192 a, and will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held at 7 p.m. on MONDAY, OCTOBER 39th, 1923. SPECIAL ORDER adjusting Ridings and Representation in the Council. In exercise of the powers conferred upon it bv Sectioa 23 of the "Counties Act 192Q," the Waimairi County Council herebv resolves by way of SPECIAL ORDER aa follows: 1. The present division of the Waimairi Countv Council into TEN Ridings i« revoked/and in lieu thereof the said County shall be divided into NINE Ridings, to be called respectively the Stvx, Marshland, Avon, Belfast, Papanui, Ilarewood, Wairarapa, Fendalton, ar.d MiddJeton Ridings, which said Ridings are respectively described in the Schedule hereto. 2. The said Council shall consist of TEN Members, who shall be elected as follows : 8. The electors of the Styx, Marshland, Avon, Belfast, Papanui, Wairarapa, Harewcod, and Middleton Ridings shall each elect One Member. b. Tho electors of the Fendalton Riding shall elect Two Members. 3. The alteration hereby made shall take «f!ect on the Ist day of April, 1926. SCHEDULE. A full description of the boundaries o. the above-mentioned Ridings is deposited at the Council Office.
