Forecast. • Present indications are for variable winds, but moderate to strong southerlies prevailing northwards of Westport and Kaikoura, and easterlies to northerlies elsewhere, tho weather cool and changeable generally, with tepid showers, particularly in the east coast, districts, and the barometer unsteady, with n funin? tendency everywhere soon.
