OLD BOYS' ASSOCIATION'. The annua! report of the Christ's College Old Boys' Association states:— The financial posiiion of the Assoeia- , tion has improve*! considerably during the past twelve ninni'lis. The financial _ year opened with a debit balance of .ii'_'S 16s sd. and closed with a credit balance of £4O tip 9d. There was ar increase of £32 13s 0d in the amount of subscriptions collected, but the total of the subscriptions outstanding ar the end of tho finaiici;'. year was ~ "70. due from 307 members, as compared with t!3-ti> -s, owino: by .'-.On members, at the end cf the prcvio"s year. In response to appeals made during the year, the total promised to the war memorial fund has been increased from £IB,OOO TV. L'd. from S-bS subscribers, to J»in,»j.')fl 2s !d, from 574 subscribers. The balance of the cash and securities held when the buildings were opened, officially was p,.id to the Hoard of Governors by the War Memorial Executive Committee, making tho total so paid up £22,7-1 3s lid. The principal amounts allocated from the income 0 f tho Robert Jl. Rhodes Eudowmen, during the year were £IOO towards the cost of enlarging the baths, £3O for special' work at the cricket ground, ami ii3s towards the cost of improving tho method of preserving photographs and records of the football teams. Mr tin! Williams has nde'rtaken the position of secretary of tho London branch, and hopes that old boys visiting England will coinmunicaic with him. With tho formation last year of a brunch in Wellington, the Association now has an active organisation of the four principal cities of the Dominion. The 75th anniversary of the school will be celebrated in December.
